The Real You

Being in the army for 3 weeks, and having facebook'd my commanders, i have this weird question.

Who is the real you?

Some might say that its a stupid question, but well, i beg to differ. For students now, the student in front of the teacher, is definitely a different student when not in front of the teacher. An example would be the way you act in front of a teacher, would definitely be different from the way you act when talking to a friend. That makes 2 "you".

Some may say that this is due to respect for the teacher, but well, i have another scenario. In clique A of friends, you have to be the center of attraction, glueing the clique together, but in clique B, you are just a side kick as someone else is the center of attraction.

Reason i started thinking about this is that after spending 3 weeks in tekong, i see the commanders as a more-than-life status, as someone who is all the way up there, untouchable, but on facebook and friendster, they seem just like us. So which is the real them?

Which is the real me?
